We will score points this year. We have to just score more than the competition on a game to game basis. I believe our defense will be pretty good this season.

I fear the weather is going to wreak havoc on our game day. From the god awful heat to the prediction of gusty thunderstorms, itās going to be touch and go. Sitting out the storms in our cars, etc. long delays. 
Weāre definitely not going to sell out and I expect some no shows due to the weather. I really hope we dodge the rain and bad storms. If we donāt, it could be a slim crowd.
Fortunately, itās a game we should win easily.

Thatās pretty close to what Vegas (Charlotte -20.5; o/u 45) is predicting, so not very out on a limb there.
Looks like thereās only @500 tickets left so itāll be close if the students get all of theirs. The brutal heat combined with a 3:30 kick will lead to some no shows though.

I obviously expect us to win. More than a W, however, Iām interested in seeing the following
- Is Fitch going to be less of a pansy as a play caller? We werenāt good last year, but I feel a lot of that was on Fitch being extremely passive.
- Will our OL be more forceful in the run game? I felt at times last year we were OK at pass blocking, but we were abhorrent in the run game.
- Continuing on the run game diatribe, do we have any dynamic running backs? The guys we trotted out last year looked plodding and unimpressive.
- Do we have any game-breaking wideouts on this roster? Javen Nicholas was a stud, sucks he defected to Puke. Mason had one great game against Monmouth and was invisible the rest of the year. Everyone else was either hurt or not a factor. We have a couple guys I think have great potential but are unproven.
- Will we generate a consistent pass rush? Love that we held on to Curtis Simpson, hope he takes the next step
- How will our secondary look? I think Womack is a great piece at safety, everyone else is a wild card. Our CB play literally canāt get any worse so thatās encouraging.
- Is the kicking game as bad as it looked in the spring showcase?

Keep in mind that Citadel loves time of possession. We may not have that many chances to get a score that high. I think we top out around 31 if the offense is humming but weāll see
