Yeah. By keeping the margin of loss to under 50 points. 
You know in the past, I took a little solace about getting crushed @indiana, @georgia, @flordia etc.. because we were getting paid $1m+ to be a homecoming or parents weekend sure win game. Well at least are getting money to help build the program and stadium. Tonight we are going to get crushed for free and then go to the 50 yr line after game and TA is going to say to the Ole Miss coach, thank you sir can I have another? same time next year. I know schedules are made years in advance and when this was scheduled, Ole Miss wasn’t really good and no one thought we would be THIS bad, but damn
Okay game day real talk from me. I’m going to agree and disagree with Hunter Bailey on a couple of related points.
I think that Ole Miss is going to bring the house almost every play against our suspect offensive line. Whoever is back there for us is going to get absolutely slaughtered.
Therefore there is no way I’m putting Jalen White out there even in mop-up time, unless it’s clear that Ole Miss has called off the dogs. I do not want to scar him by having him get put on his ass every single snap.
Wondering if Grayson Loftis might end up playing sacrificial lamb for us today? Cannot risk the present (Gonzalez) or the future (White).
Yeah I agree. I would start Loftis today and play him as long as he’s still alive. The rest of the season is possibly already over, but it will be for sure if Gonzalez gets injured.

I am pretty sure UNCC is getting $1.8 to play this game at Ole Miss. It was originally a H&H series but with the new SEC scheduling, OM needed an extra home game. As for getting shellacked, that is another story and I think these payout games are a bad deal. Hey kids, go get hammered so we can cash a check. How do you think Florida A&M feels? 77-7? These games should be outlawed. Although UNCC is theoretically an FBS and The Citadel did just cash a check to beat us at home. Either way, we stink and staring down the barrel of 0-12. At least we will never be ranked #139!
