The great pitching continued with Chase Carson on Sunday. Wesley Jones left after 1 inning, and Carson came in on short notice with a gem. 5 strong innings allowing only 2 hits, 1 walk & 10 Ks!
The game never felt in doubt all weekend.
Not a bad week, with a resume win on Tuesday, then take care of business on the weekend. Best start since 2011!!
Team has definitely been more impressive after the first weekend……….although… even USD looks better than most anticipated, though we still needed to win that series.
