A little different rotation with the short week this week.
The two wins over South Florida give Robert Woodard 199 in his career leading the 49ers, putting him one away from his 200th. He was the fastest coach in program history to reach 100 wins, doing so in 2023 in his 166th game, and can hit the 200-win milestone leading the 9 Across The Chest in as few as 345 games with a win in game one against East Carolina. Only two coaches have hit the 200-win mark in the Queen City, Loren Hibbs (361 games) and Gary Robinson (382 games).

Really RW? Super fast yank of CO after a solid 1st with CLT leading1-0 to bring in JT who couldn’t come close to finding the strike zone. Down 6-1 in the second now and on our 3rd pitcher already. WTF? Brilliant move. Another case of outsmarting himself.

Ridiculous move by RW gave EZU those 6 runs…..all with 2 outs.
Embarrassing effort being run ruled by a mediocre EZU team……I hope to be wrong, but im expecting us to be on the wrong end of the broom this weekend at this point.

Totally embarrassing effort, across the board other than Alec and Walker.
Much better start tonight. Copper didn’t look great in the 1st, but RW stuck with him and let him get into a better groove. Niners up 7-2 in the B3.

Infield errors again bringing ecu back into the game. We have to be among the worst in the country with 2 outs and possibly 2 strikes. From 7-2 lead, to a 9-9 tie. Last 7 EZU runs all come across with 2 outs. Ridiculous……even though our bats were better tonight, I had a bad feeling our bullpen would let us down again.

Agreed…..Last night’s was terrible as well.
We keep finding new ways to blow leads and mis handle hard grounders as well.. ..losing 10-9 now. This team IS ,FULL of chokers! Good lord! They can’t get a,3rd out in crunch time to save their lives. I still hope it doesn’t happen but this team deserves to lose this game.
They put up 9 runs against an ECU team with a mediocre offense. Had this game won. Our head coach deserves 90% of the blame due to his horrific mismanagement of our arms.
