I’m pretty sure if someone showed some fight in that locker room it would be commended! In all seriousness, very few things can get you kicked off a team with no explanation and that quickly. Makes you wonder how close him and Jizzle were, being that they both came from Cincy.
Next man up now, and a key measuring stick game Saturday night that will give us a look into the rest of the season!

Hate whatever happened, happened, but if we are going to lose a starter it least it’s from one of the few positions we have depth.

Yeah, hate to see it happen, but you’re right—if Charlotte had to lose a starter, this is one of the few spots where the depth chart can absorb it.
That said, having bodies isn’t the same as replacing starter-level snaps. I’ll be watching the rotation, communication, and how quickly the next guy handles pressure situations. Hopefully it’s next-man-up without a major drop-off

I liked Cobb last year, and I thought Perteet looked good last Saturday. We know Rutledge is good, and we’ve seen flashes from Alexander. If Charlotte loses to App State, it will be the defense that falls short, not a RB issue.

Wow! Nothing good online about our Niners. Most everyone forecasting 0-12 this year, and a 3 touchdown underdog to App State, a Sunbelt school.
Just for grins and giggles, how many would prefer to go back in time and keep Biff Poggi (knowing what we know now) for another year with his teams getting 3 wins year one and 5 wins year two, totalling 8 wins - compared to what we have now?
Only 1 total win (Monmouth) with the new regime and possibly 0-12 this year; or 1-23 over 2 years.
Where would year three and four have ended up had we kept Poggi? With any continued upward trend, we are at least in bowl games if not beyond. It is apparent to me that we have only moved backwards.
Let’s see what happens for the remainder of the year and hope things get turned around soon. Only Time Will tell.
If I could go back in time (which I can’t) I would take Will Healy as a coach over Biff. Better winning percentage and excitement surrounding the program during that timeframe.

Agree on reconsidering even starting football, and sticking with Healy a little longer to see what may have happened.
While we are at it, can I go back and reconsider getting married??

Can’t say I would agree with Will Healy over Biff. Healy was a cheerleader who won with Brad Lamberts players. I would have liked to see Biff stay a little longer. He just didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut…I really hope Albin works out but it is a rocky start. The circus continues…
For that matter would have preferred Lambert over everyone since. IMHO

I have to admit I’m also having those thoughts. It’s really sad, considering how badly and for how long I’ve wanted football.
College football is the second most popular sport in the United States behind the NFL. UNC Charlotte is a large public university. It is totally reasonable for the university to sponsor football. We’ve had incompetent leadership from the jump not the fans or students fault.

What was Judy Rose’s quote? I think she said Mike Tranghese (Big East commissioner) or somebody like that told her that football will expose all the weaknesses in your athletic department.
That turned out to be painfully prophetic.
