Why do they not have our Louisiana game on hereâŚthey have TBA? I feel like itâs a bad look. How are they not on the same page or does this mean the game isnât a lock yet?
My initial reaction was someone forgot to update the clip art of the new season. However, itâs also listed in the article about buying season tickets as a âa game to be announced later.â Weird for sure.

On the âCharlotte Footballâ instagram story/post they posted a funny video about what teammates you would want to sit next to on a plane. In this video I noticed WR Adam Hopkins IV, TE Gus McGee (I knew he was possibly returning), RB/KR/PR Henry Rutledge (have another season due to injury?), DB DeQuinder Williams (forgot about this local kid), Bronson Long (SHOCKED he didnât enter the portal). Either way all of these players help each position room and make them stronger than what I thought.

I make no claims of accuracy. This number could be too big if some of the walkons arenât returning, or if there are additional transfers out that I am unaware of. This number could be too small if additional players get another year, or if there are people who have withdrawn from the portal and returned to the team that I donât know about.
Winter conditioning is a time of year when great strides can be made towards winning games in the fall. After a disappointing season, some teams will not give full effort in conditioning, fearing more of the same. Other teams will get an attitude, determined not to let it happen again, and work their tails off.
This year, unlike last year, we havenât heard even a peep about winter conditioning. Are the players getting stronger, and faster, and bigger? Are the new players and the old players blending into a team?
How come we donât land any young âlocalâ QBs who have been elsewhere sitting behind QBs. I would rather get another young QB to have for depth instead of having 3 older QBs in loftis, Harrell, and Gonzales. White I guess is the future. Will the 3 other QBs I listed all be gone after this next season?

Yeah who cares that we have a backyard of good players and we get very few. Have we even offered Houghâs 2027 Royal? Itâs sad when you canât at least land 1 local player who is coming to us as a higher rated player

This is what I show for the class status of the six QBs, three upperclassmen, and three underclassmen. Gonzales has one year left. Officially, Harrell has one year left, but likely can get another year because of his injury last year. Loftis has two years. McNulty is a R-So, so he has three years left. White and Dawyot are true Freshmen.
I would guess they will try to recruit 1-2 Freshmen this year. I am aware of six offers to QBs, but there may be more. Two of them are to North Carolina quarterbacks:
Davin Davidson (Ohio) - 17 P4 offers, many G5
Charlie Foulke (Pennsylvannia) - 6 P4 offers
Tristan Sabb - (St. Frances, Baltimore) - offer from BC
JD Brown (Florida) - offer from BC
Myles McCallop (was Rolesville, NC, moved to Clinton, NC)
Bryson Gray, Raleigh - offer from UNC
In todayâs world, probably 1-2 of the five QBs who could be back will enter the portal, so in this world, recruiting new players will be a non-stop obligation.
