Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation will hold the 24th Annual Great Gold Rush Auction, Saturday, June 2 at Halton Arena. The gala event will attract over 625 attendees, including several corporate and community leaders in Charlotte. Over 1200 items, valued at over $400,000 will be available, including over 49 specialty items in the live auction.
The auction begins at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction on the upper concourse of Halton Arena. Dinner follows on the arena floor at approximately 7:45 p.m. The live auction gets underway at 9:00 p.m.
Last year, the event raised a record $270,000 for the 49ers Athletic Scholarship Fund.
