Some guys who are signed/committed who didnt play include dychess, chantz williams, the 2 recent commits, johnny hasard, gsiney. Those are some guys not yet enrolled off top of my head. Lots of starters and contributors didnât even duit up yesterday like weber.
True. Oline needs to gel quick but green just wasnât good. Some returning guys who didnt start could see pt though.
I donât have much of an opinion here - no inside info. All I know is that this guy barely played for us, though expectations were big. Potentially a big loss, but not anything in the way of actual production to replace.
We seem to have lost the majority of the âhypeâdâ players we were told about last pre-season, remember the 20+ 4/5 stars⌠or was it 25??
Regardless must be really impacting our depth for the upcoming season. Depth impacts you at end of games and seasons.
We added a bunch of guys too though. I donât think we downgraded in most cases.

Yeah, Biff said during the off season one of the problems last year was chasing talent over fit. I am guessing many of those 4/5 guys were not good culture fits. Said they were trying to infuse talent fast and missed on some guys that werenât team players. I thought we looked more talented at skill positions Saturday than last season. AGAIN, very small sample size.

If thats the case, then why add former usc and ecu Wr oâmega blake, who supposedly is not a good locker room guy?
Itâs ok to add a few questionable kids if you have a culture strong enough to keep them in line. Last year they had too many questionable kids and not a strong enough culture.
With the me first team second era of college football and looking to get paid itâs even more critical to get guys that fit the culture and only taking chances on a handful of players.

I assume this is correct. Just passing along what I heard in an interview. Only time will tell if this strategy will work or not. Most everyone has to rebuild every year now. I do think Biff is trying to build this program right if there is such a thing any more.

Someone on the chat room said they had a friend that worked within the ecu AD and he wasnât the best teammate in the locker room. Throwing his NIL in other players faces and such.
I read that too. Maybe unfair to label the guy based on chatroom material, but at least a pinkish flag.

This is a transfer that wouldâve made sense even before the crazy rule changes. Got hurt and then passed by Purdie this spring. I wish nothing but the best for him
