Shout out to our womens golfer (Pinky) who is competing as an individual (not on a tournament team) in the Charlottesville NCAA Regional. After 2 (of 3) rounds, she is sitting in 13th place overall and 8 strokes ahead of the next highest individual player. If she holds on, she will advance.
I think the woman from Maryland sets one stroke lower than Pinky on the individual side. She still has a good shot at advancing, She made up a lot of ground today.
Pimky threw out the “first pitch” at softball last Friday. We found out why she didn’t play a sport that involves throwing a ball.

Pinky didn’t shoot her best round today, but she finished as the top individual at the Charlottesville regional. She now advances to the NCAA Championship. One of six nationally. Congrats!!

According to 49er website, Pinky did not advance.
That sure confused me. I thought one of the six individuals would advance. Now I see that the low score individual on any team not in the top five goes to the championship. My bad ya’ll.
