Apparently you were not around his first yearā¦he may not ever get back to that level, but he definitely WAS a solid D1 player at that point.
I wanted to see Aly and Francois play together a few times
I have never seen a player airball more threes, and turn the ball over in more unathletic ways than Luka. Heās going to be a 6th year college player, the potential is gone.
Regardless of the player he was or wants to be itās clear this isnāt the place for him. System, injuries, position - whatever it is - it wasnāt good when he saw minutes last year. Best of luck to him wherever he lands. He fought thru a lot. Good luck Luka.
Charlotte 49er fans wear tighty whitiesā¦figuresā¦
And our leading rebounderā¦
More and more I think its a mistake to just pull the plug on Sanchez, we arenāt going to have a roster worth a damn next year anyway would rather it be with a new coach⦠smh
If football fails and basketball predictably fails then we are looking at replacing both football and basketball going into AAC play. That is not something I wantedZ. With the roster decimated anyway we should have moved on in basketball and given that sport a chance to reset ahead of AAC move. I love that we moved but the challenge to improve just got harder in a more difficult league.
A new exciting coach could ramp up recruiting
UConn is recruiting other point guards bigger than Jamir. I hope he picks the right place where he can start rather than sit on the bench.
Notice that Rothstein tweet has been deleted. Hmmā¦
Glad to hear Jamir is not going to visit UConn. Agree that was not the right place for him. Would not blame Jamir if he does leave. However thereās nowhere he could go where the fans would be more appreciative of him than Charlotte. Also Jamir can go pro from here as well as from anywhere else as he has the potential to be player of the year in our conference for two more years
Only reason he stays is if Sanchez somehow signs several transfers where Young for whatever reason sees potential. Heās not coming back for the fan appreciation. The program is mess.
This could be why JY no longer visiting UConn.
What are the odds you guys think either Jahmir stays in the draft, transfers, or comes back?
100% that he does one of those things
Sounds like you need a poll
- Enter NBA Draft
- Transfer to another college
- Return to Charlotte for Junior year
