I will be absolutely shocked if he comes back. IMO heās just being nice saying we are still in it.
Transfer: 75%
NBA: 5% - Heās ready for Europe, but not NBA
stay: 20%
I think he could be an early second rounder if he goes to a winning school and balls out next year, which is what I hope for him. If UNCC was able to win more while he was here that couldāve greatly helped his stock
I think his draft stock would go up next year for sure. I donāt buy into all the hype of a higher profile program. Sure, it might help a little, but talent is talent and they can evaluate it. I still think heās the type of player that would end up making more $$$ overseas than in the NBA (see Henry Williams).
I hate to even mention this but he has liked several tweets about Bacot deciding to return for another season at CHeat.
I believe Bacot and Jahmir, played on the same travel bball team.
Playing in march can do a tremendous job of boosting oneās stock. Seen it happen many times
Playing in March for sure but I also think pro scouts wanna see him go up against better talent.
Not to be condescending but people that thinks he can play in the NBA donāt watch much pro hoops
I donāt think heās a shoe in by any means. I def see him making a camp and once there who knows. He can fill it up.
By the way, I would love to be proven wrong by him. Iām pulling for it
JD made magic camp so I am sure Jahmir would. Steep hill to climb but Iām pulling for him.
āWinning is key,ā he said. āI wasnāt really winning at Charlotte. I want the ball in my hands and to be able to prove that I can not only play but dominate like I know I can. I want a place that will give me that opportunity. Most of the schools that Iām interested in are saying that so thatās pretty good.ā
I wanna win too. Can fans jump ship as well?
Pretty much guarantees he has no intentions of returning here.
Jamir, I know they all say the ball will be in your hands. There is 1 basketball and 5 teammates. Do the math. Good Luck.
UConn said the same things to Jamir and then recruited over him. He needs to be careful with his selection in order to assure he will be their starting point guard
A team shouldnāt wait on a single player. What if that player chooses another school? In these cases it is who signs first. Doesnāt mean a school wouldnāt take another guard if they wanted to transfer there too.
Given how players can leave now recruiting over a player makes total sense.
Yeah, that quote tells me he aināt coming back unless we get a bunch of 4-star transfers. Iād drop my return % to 5% and increase his transfer %. Still think NBA this year is only 5%. This sucks.
