It’s not the athletic dept., so UNC Charlotte is appropriate.

I know its not an official AD sport, but it should still be “Charlotte” given that it uses the AD logos on its uniforms (I assume, approved by the AD) AND otherwise only adds to the “confusion”.

He especially didn’t like it when lacrosse threads were posted in the 49ers Sports Fourm, like this one is. Because according to him, it’s not a 49er sport

I don’t know as they can. “Charlotte 49ers” is the athletic dept.

They are not a part of the athletic dept, they are a club affiliated with the University (UNC Charlotte)

SO, whether they like it or not… I wouldn’t be surprised if they have to be ‘UNC Charlotte’ hockey.

There is a (or used to be) a club baseball team along with the AD scholarship team.
