What a horrible disappointment.
Memphis is NOT good.
We just didn’t play hard until about 12 minutes left.
If we had played that hard the entire match we would have won.
Also way way way too many shots were not even close to being on frame.

Well, ref decided we weren’t going to play soccer. Very many uncalled fouls went the way of the Tigers. It looked to me that the sequence when they scored started with what should have been a foul on them. We didn’t finish the chances we had.
Edit: I finally got around to looking at a replay. There was for sure an uncalled foul that led to their score. The freaking ref was looking another direction and his assistants were asleep too, I guess. Very bad luck since we were the better team overall particularly toward the match end when they were gassed.

We have looked like the better team through the first 45, but we haven’t found the net.
Winning lots of balls in midfield, but have to make that final pass.
FIU coach just gave a halftime interview and said they are targeting our weaker players on defense. Kinda sounded like a douchebag.
Completely outplayed FIU for the entire match but tied 0-0, because FIU was allowed to foul us at will without drawing any reds.
Larsen was take down in the box with no call.
Jauk was fouled hard just outside the box two times soon after. No call.
Load of crap.
There is FIU starting a shoving match after the final whistle.

Did not realize we were best in the nation in defensive scoring average.
That kind of makes that FIU coach saying they were targeting a couple of our players who are “uncomfortable in transition” sound like a damned fool.
