Everything about Eastern is hideous.
I know the conditions are bad, but this team doesn’t seem to have much going for it.
Credit to the ladies for getting going and depriving Eastern of all three points with a draw.

Almost won the game too with about 2 minutes left. Had a one on one with the keeper (defender hot on our heels) but put it just barely wide right.

ECU leads the world in yellow cards. Honestly, today’s ref lacked balls to call all the dirty stuff they do, including what should have been a PK right at end of the game. Lindsey Ozimek had the correct comment noting that the proper thing to do when your teammate is fouled is to make sure the offending player pays a price for it.
The bad luck continues with the rain today and key injuries.

Niners now 0-2-3 in AAC. Definitely a rebuilding year.
I thought we outplayed UAB for most of the game. Just couldn’t get a clean shot on goal. Macy Bader wasn’t much involved last night that I could tell. She is the catalyst.
