At a quick glance, it looks like both articles are the same. :shades: (no, I am not complaining)

I said it in another post… It is mathematically possible to finish the conference at 27-7.

We just need to keep winning… and winning… and winning… and winning… and then win some more.

I don’t mind that, they often are “partners” on stories

15 conf games left at 5-7

pretty interesting that last year’s NCAA champ Fresno St finished the reg season at 33-27 and had to win the conf tourny to even qualify for ncaa play

[QUOTE]Five weeks ago, Fresno State entered the Western Athletic Conference tournament with a 33-27 record and needed to capture the league crown to even land a spot in the 64-team national tournament. The Bulldogs received a No. 4 seed in their four- team regional, the equivalent of a team drawing a 13-16 seed in the national men’s basketball tournament.
Underdogs
The WAC champions upset sixth-ranked San Diego to win their regional and then stunned Arizona State on the road in one of eight super regionals. That victory made Fresno State the first regional fourth seed to advance to the final 8 in Omaha since the national tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1999.
