A-10 #6 in final RPI rankings for 2009-2010

Figured this would make a good first post/thread in this forum.

Atlantic10.com: A-10 Ranked Sixth Among 31 Conferences In Final Men’s Basketball RPI

And to the mods - thanks!!!

I bet this is a big surprise too ever one of you Niners. It is too me. I aint red or herd nothing all year about the A10 being this good. And I read the newspaper ever day. I guess yall no the ACC is the best confrence. But Number 6 is good to. Does that make yall one of what they call the Big 6?

Ace, it seems to be too late, but wear a helmet.

without fordham, this year at least, we are 5th or higher easily.

A Fordhamless A10 and a Dukeless acc would have been pretty close in conference rpi.

According to this site, 5 teams in the top 40 and us at 79, SLU at 80.

In all honesty, I think we would get more respect and support from the casual sports fans in Charlotte if they knew the conference was this tough.

Actually, if you compare conferences the way it should be, only OOC, I believe the A10 finished 5th: http://www.rpiforecast.com/confs/A10.html

Once you include the conference games in the rpi, you allow the bcs conferences to inflate theirs because they have so many more home games (pumps up the opponents’ and the opponents’ opponents’ records that do not factor in road/home/neutral).
