You can 3 of the 4 games without the sportspack. MASN is on the regular package.
Thanks. I’ve been thinking about switching over. The MASN games pretty much seals the deal.
Time Warner people across the state will be in great shape. TW is not offered in Lincoln county, though. Charter is the cable provider. If I switch to DirecTV, can I see all 4 road games (3 on MASN; 1 on CSTV)???
Except that the TW folks will miss out on the 3 MASN games. :cuss: Still, 9 is much better than 4 (and I can catch the other 3 at Picasso’s). Thanks Signature Sports!!!
BTW, any chance the Paradise Jam will get picked up?

slick move on MASN’s part. We are reaping the benefits of MASN looking to piss off TW. :lmao:

solution: get rid of TW and get Directv. TW is who is sticking it to you not giving you Niner games.

I had the same debate 2 years ago. When we had games on CSET, I was leaning towards TW, but they folded, so I went to DTV with the NFL Network.
since we have two threads going (mod should combine), here was the official press release this morning:
Charlotte Announces Comprehensive TV Package

I think it is great that our games will be seen all over the state. The more exposure the better as far as recruiting.
We get to show off our facilities at Halton and the fact that we play in a City with an NBA team with our games at Bobcat Arena.
solution: get rid of TW and get Directv. TW is who is sticking it to you not giving you Niner games.
Powerbait would probably argue with you on that. Sounds like TW would deal except MASN doesn’t want to be part of a package. Whatever the reasoning I’m hoping TW and MASN will finally come to some agreement (but I’m not holding my breath). The wife and I have looked at DirectTV a couple years back but went with cable just because it’s easier and no up front costs. We may have to look at it again though (sorry to hijack the thread).
slick move on MASN's part. We are reaping the benefits of MASN looking to piss off TW. :lmao:
Why not give MASN some thank yous/ammunition?
TWC would not have put together this “local” basketball package if MASN was knocking on the door.
TWC would not have put together this “local” basketball package if MASN was knocking on the door.
You’re right. MASN already carries a bunch of ECU football games, now all of a sudden TW is showing ECU basketball games. I’ve heard the MASN radio commercials talking directly to the ECU fans about how TW won’t carry MASN.

I love competitive markets.
I keep telling you guys…you’re in the wrong league.

Still compiling … but it looks about even between the 2 conferences:

A10 vs CAA is like comparing Laverne and Shirley
:lmao:
Leave it to metro to make me crack another rib.
