A-10 Tourney in Atlantic City in 2007?

Just read on the A-10 board that the site of the 2007 men’s hoops tourney was discussed at the conference spring meeting in Boca Raton, Florida this past weekend. Atlantic City is apparently the current frontrunner.

From what I can ascertain, Boardwalk Hall seats about 10,000 for hoops. Serves as the home for minor league hockey and site of the Miss America pageant!

Atlantic City.
Wooo!
The East Coast Vegas.
I definitely have to go, & get wild, baby!

I would go. AC has an airport and Casino’s. Good idea.

With only holding 10,000 hopefully it will be full for the tournament.

Got to wonder what our allotment would be on that, and you can bet it would probably sell out. Those tickets would probably be scalped

Where is this years to be held? I haven’t thought that far out yet.

US Bank Arena in Cincy.

USBA website

Boardwalk Arena looks like something out of a disney movie, but I’ll take the location.

Hardly

My friend is a huge Checkers booster and all that entails. He travels to minor league hockey venues quite reguarly and gives this venue high praise.

I’d play at the Casinos, & go to my room to watch the game. No sense paying a scalper. I’d have more fun at the casino anyway. I wonder if they have similar style entertainment to Vegas?
The best day to go in person would be after some other teams lose. They’ll sell us their tickets cheap. Everyone will hate us because the 49ers will be so dominant.

In 2006-07 there will be no more Withers, Baldwin, Drayton, Nance, nor Bennett playing for the Niners. All those freshman at Dayton who won 18 games last year will be juniors. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
