If the Niners were vying for the A-10 championship, then I could see DA on the first team. But we’re not and so I don’t think he’ll make that squad.
First team:
Jimmy Baron, Rhode Island
Justin Doellman, Xavier
Rashaun Freeman, UMass
Stephane Lasme, UMass
Tommie Liddell, Saint Louis
Right now I believe the POY will be either Doellman or Lasme (or they may be co-POYs as in 2005 with La Salle’s Steven Smith and St. Joe’s Pat Carroll)
Second team
De’Angelo Alexander, Charlotte
Dionte Christmas, Temple
Pat Calathes, St. Joe’s
Carl Elliot, GW
Kevin Lisch, Saint Louis
Third team
E. J. Drayton, Charlotte
Bryant Dunston, Fordham
Robert Mitchell, Duquesne
Ahmad Nivins, St. Joe’s
Brian Roberts, Dayton
All Rookie
Rodney Green, La Salle
Damion Hollis, GW
Tiki Mayben, UMass
Robert Mitchell, Duquesne - Rookie of the Year
Garrett Williamson, St. Joe’s
I seriously don’t see how Brian Roberts is going to drop to 3rd team. 2nd in the A-10 in scoring 1st in FT PCT. Also Liddell has fell off the map lately, with DA’s recent scoring outbursts he seems more primed for that 1st team position. Kevin Lisch is not a 2nd teamer. I also don’t see Salisbury getting left off this list. He has been as good as Christmas of late, 5th in scoring 3rd in steals. A little high on Baron aren’t you? I think Daniels is more deserving.
Lasme is CPOY almost hands down.
