A10 moving hoops tournament to Brooklyn (Barclays Arena) in 2013

I like the Brooklyn call. I think its a nice step-up.

And guys, be cheap and take the Megabus from CLT to DC, DC to NYC. 9 bucks to get there, I bet.

It just needs some fangs on either side of that Barclay’s sign to make it really badass.

Seriously though, weird design and the choice of exterior just makes it all the less appealing.

I was just in NY last week. Stayed across the river for $130 a night. Was able to catch a bus into the 42nd street station for $2.50 and then ride the subway anywhere in the city for about $10 a day.

I like this move. I may actually go if we have a team worth a damn.

Per Saint Louis/A-10 beatwriter Tom Timmerman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, all 12 qaulifying teams will go to NYC, thus ending the 1st round games at campus sites after the upcoming season.
