Guys I’m concerned. I heard it’s moving, but need someone to confirm ASAP

I hear A10 soccer is joining up with the Barclays Premier League and the A10 Soccer Championships will be held in Wembley.

Man, I miss that old layout.

It could be our last A10 tourney if the conference shifts are dramatic. Hope we finally win it.

Should have known it wouldn’t be long before the mods rained on the parade.

Still trying to get used to the BROOKLYN Nets, but do have to admit that I’m old enough to remember when they were the NY Nets in the ABA! Anyway, can’t say too many over on the A-10 board are that enthusiastic about the new location for the conference tourney, though no one can argue that venue-wise it’s definitely an upgrade from Atlantic City.

I think I went to 5 C-USA Tournaments and really had a good time but I have yet to go to an A-10 Tourney. We just have not had the kind of team that made me believe we could win our first game. I sure miss the good old days.

Brooklyn seems way better imo. AC seems like a weird place to have a tourney that no one wants to go to who isn’t already involved with a school.

And I agree 100%.

Hotels are MUCH cheaper on the weekend in the Brooklyn area. Atlantic City was a ripoff to any fans going up for the tourney with the way they jack up their hotel rates on the weekend. Good move by the conference to get the hell out of there.

Just did a quick price check on Orbitz for that weekend in 2012, and your per person rate including flight and hotel is $350-$450 for a 4-night stay. Even if the Tourney ticket goes up some, it’s still much cheaper deal overall than Atlantic City. If Alumnus puts together a bus trip my guess is he can find an even better deal.

A number of the northeastern posters seem to like it, the Philly posters like it in AC, and the Dayton/Xavier posters mostly want it in Ohio or Pittsburgh.

If Brooklyn really is cheaper than AC, then this is a no-brainer.
