AAC programs getting better, we are getting worse.
Maybe Ron will get another 5 years after we go 0-30.

Maybe getting better. Memphis has the money, so no surprise there. FAU no defections so far. Tulane has taken a big hit. Ditto North Texas. Only time will tell if all these P6 guys who were mostly riding the pine work out in the AAC.
Former Niner assistant during Major tenure joining USF staff:
Watching this off-season unfold is starting to feel like we aren’t really in the same conference/league with the existing AAC schools or some of the new guys. Still a lot of time left but we haven’t even seriously been in the conversation to land anyone yet while our peers are competing for recruits with much higher level programs & winning. We’ve never really landed an impact go to player in the portal & this year that is what we need to replace. Our best players under Sanchez have all come in as freshmen (Jahmir, Aly, Brice) & the portal guys have been role players with a few cancers mixed in. So far it looks like we have a roster full of role players & we’re searching for more in the portal. Almost seems like going in to a season with a lame duck coach is a bad idea.
Yep, our peers landing transfers from the likes of #315 California (3-29), #240 Georgetown (7-25), and #220 Florida State (9-23) is very impressive.
We lost our two best players and have no news.

FWIW, Elite Eight Creighton has lost its top 4 players and no news in Omaha either.
It’s worth nothing. I’ll speak for the board here. We don’t give a damn about what goes on in Omaha unless the baseball guys get hot.
Why does that look like a tournament we should be playing in?
clt says at this point, we are going to stink in the aac.
We’ll be in good company. FAU and Memphis at the top and then everyone else.
As expected:
Pretty meaningless right now but Lunardi has FAU as a #2 seed in Charlotte. Memphis in as #10, also in the QC.
Sticking with the Big 5 moniker while including Drexel in the Philly D-I MBB tournament.
Ron is reloading too! Go ahead and post what Ron has…
