Unfortunately, we are not peaking at the right time. After the beginning of the season we started playing pretty well and won games. Now we are going downhill it seems.

All these hires may mean they have their new AD they are having to wait on announcing it for some reason.

Thanks for sharing. I hope the sitting ADs are at universities where they have to fight for every penny to make athletics work. I think that experience would be invaluable here in this market.

• A current AAC or Sun Belt AD who’s built a program (e.g., someone like Jared Benko from James Madison—though he’s newer, his football success fits; or a mid-major like Jeremy Martin from Western Kentucky, known for revenue jumps).
• An AD from a Group of 5 school with Charlotte-like ambitions (e.g., Brett Thompson from Sacramento State or a similar riser who’s handled NIL/revenue sharing transitions).

Jered Benko is AD at Georgia Southern and has no ties to JMU.

I doubt that. I’d imagine two from other “mid majors” but unlikely that it would be another AAC AD
