I almost saw Triumph with Mahogany Rush at the Park Center but alas it was cancelled wish it wasn’t because both those bands were kick ass.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Frank Marino described the style of Mahogany Rush as “The Grateful Dead meets jazz.” Definitely hear the latter in this live version of the instrumental “Poppy”:

Band included an ex-member of Puddle of Mudd and a future member of Rev Theory. Side project of actor Johnny Strong, who left a lot to be desired as a band front man + lead singer)
