CNN’s Anderson Cooper is going to be on campus tonight, hosting 360 in the SAC at 10pm. He’s going to be interviewing Barack Obama via satellite and also doing some stuff on the Niners, while the Nebraska game hopefully plays in the background. The PR department is trying to work a deal to get ESPN Classic broadcast in the SAC tonight. And hey, it’s live tv, so we can get a lot of people out, it’s free press and camera time.

Wait! What!!! But they are hosting something at Hams… Coverage is good and all but they need to pull it together more. Let facebook know. That should get a response. And, don’t tell them what TV they will be on, just say National TV.
What if he wore a 49er shirt? Would you vote for him then?
Vote for him? No. Shake his hand, sure. Unfortunately, I for some strange reason, base my choice for president off of more than a simple common-sense showing of support. But, please let’s not make this political.

Don't make a thread, about a political anchor coming here to talk about politics, political. Check.
Hmmm. This is interesting. Chapel Hill Phil is a diehard Republican. Obama,
of course, is a Democrat. Wonder how this slipped by Dr. Phil on a national
stage!
Switchfoot, the press release means nothing. It’s still all about Obama and I’m still surprised.
Too bad ESPN Classic didn’t set up a movie screen for the game so we could watch the Niners
v. Nebraska and Cooper, too. What about the timing? NNN invited to SAC at 9PM. Hey,
that’s the tipoff time!! BLASPHEMY!!!

I am normally a fan of this kind of stuff, but then again I am a democrat. If he’s (Phil) truly a republican I haven’t seen it and don’t really care. I guess I could look up his political registration online but oh well.
Methinks, we get someone to turn on the jumbotron and play the intro to lineup
announcement just when Cooper welcomes everybody to 360! LMAO Hey,
have the pep band show up and walk around Halton track! They probably
didn’t make the trip to Nebraska anyways.
