Goes to Victory Christian along with Barnett. He’s listed at 5’9 175lbs. He reminded us all of Nate Robinson. Kid went up for a 2-handed alley oop ingame the other night. Has an above average handle (at least its better than Carlos’), and he had a very solid shot. I’m guessing he went for 20 to 25 points. He was great at getting to the basket (was against inferior competition, not afraid of contact), but is incredibly quick, so I’m not sure that it mattered. Very solid outside shot (made 4 or 5 threes). Makes solid passes a majority of the time. He as a little attitude to him it seems, but to me, I saw it as being competitive.
Doesn’t have any schools listed at looking at him. As a two-start and only a junior some people from this school should scout and look into him. If he’s as solid as you’re describing (I know it was only one game) then there’s a chance he could bloom late as well. If your 5’9" and can put it down 2 handed… I want to see you play.
So this kid is 5-9 and doing/trying ally oop…wow. So I guess he probably has at least an 40 inch vert. What is Nate Robinson (this kids would be about the same)?
Cornelius was the defensive stopper and playmaker with the dribble. The 5-foot-9 sophomore is quick as a hiccup and the Stars backcourt just couldn’t find an answer for him. As good as Bost and Pitts were, Cornelius may have had the most impact in the championship game because of his big play ability.
he may not even be 5’9, thats just what they listed him out. Kid has a solid skill set already. I’d love to see him again to get a better feel for his game
I don’t think he is 5’9 but it was hard to tell with the 4’11 guards on the other team. We should definitely take a look at this kid, he is definitely a pg that can dribble and create which we have lacked the last few years.
Charlotte Observer has him listed as a top 10 in state junior. Can we go after his guy? We already have his teammate and we havent had a decent, true PG in over a decade. I don’t care if the guy is 4’5’’ as long as he can play.
2 different people that saw him at the Carolina Challenge (top 80 underclass in the state) stated that he was one of the best prospect at the tournament.

Afraid we may have missed the boat on him, he already has some SEC and ACC offers.
