Anthony Stitt PG 2011

Jim mentioned Stitt being in attendance at the X game. A distant cousin of Demontez Stitt, Anthony is listed as a 6-1 PG. Selected First Team SW4A by the Big O. Scout ranks him a 3-star and TechSideline.com reports that we have offered.

Demontez Stitt, Anthony Stitt, Deshawn Stitt… if your last name is Stitt, the Niners will recruit you.

Is looking at Charlotte hard now that Odom is on staff.

Hopefully the C trend continues

Clemson… CHARLOTTE

thanks Jags. If we are looking hard at him, do we think we have a legit shot at Tyler Lewis? ???

thats good to hear. what are your sources?

Recruit both heavily. IF we do get lucky enough to get both we could play Stitt at SG, he should be at least 6’2 by college if not 6’3 and his 24.3ppg, 2.1 apg, and 5.7 rpg are more SG like than PG like. If he’s genuinely looking hard at us go after him, he looks good.

He should be 6’2 or 6’3 by college?

There is no guarantee that he will grow anymore. I pretty much maxed out my sophomore or junior year of HS.

I was 5’1" at the begginning of 9th grade and 5’8" by the end of 10th grade. I should be 7’ by now, but instead 5’8" still. Not everyone is JB.

But need to have at least two pg’s on the roster at all times, and ideally 3 (starter, backup/combo guard, developing frosh/soph). We have zero true pg’s on scholarship right now. We can’t wait until 2013 to have a true freshman pg on campus, with nothing in-between, but 2010 is going to be tough to get a legit player at this point. I think it makes total sense to go after a guy in 2011 even if Lewis is in reach. You can’t put your program on hold for one guy, especially when there’s a decent chance he’ll go elsewhere even if he shows us love right now.

Maybe he’ll be the next david robinson

I was 5’5’ in 9th grade, 5’7 in 11th grade, and reached 6’0 in college. Not everyone is RF.

You’ll probably shrink back down 5’6" once your ginger spots fall off.

David Wishon will be 8 feet tall by the time he gets to college

Damn, I don’t care if he is a stiff; sign him up!

per Scout.com, we have offered, along with Richmond, VCU, ECU & App State.

Final 4 does not include us. I think we backed off and focused on Williams, Carter & Parker.
