How many more recruits are we trying to land for this year? Are we finished for the fall and waiting for JUCO’s in the spring or transfers? I have not seen much talk on the board for past wek or so. Hope we can pull out a couple of more good recruits for next year to go along with this year’s class.
No, we are taking a new approach. We will recruit a fantasy basketball team, sit back and watch them play, follow there stats and try to with the CBS sportsline fantasy basketball championship
But in all seriousness, we are finished for the fall im sure. But there will be lots of prospect talk later on.

Domonic Tilford - PG recruit. I believe he’s the main target at the moment.
Only thing left we are recruiting is a PG. Will attempt to sign one in the Fall, if we can’t get the one we want we will wait till the Spring.

Good players, all 3. I’m looking forward seeing them play besides Phil Jones, but I hope Charlotte can find a solid JUCO backup for when Phil is on the bench.

It has been VERY quiet in the last few weeks. I’ve also been slack in updating the 2007 post and will do that in the next few days with probably more targets on the horizon.
I’ve updated the 2007 thread with the following info (since it’s been 2 months since I’ve done so).
11/11/06 - Tyrell Lynch commited to Auburn. Charlotte received LOIs (Letter of Intents) from all 3 verbals (Eric Whitehurst, Anjuan Wilderness, and Gaby Ngoundjo). Other news over the last 30 - 45 days: Kenyon Harmon) decommited a month ago from Charlotte again. Chris Barnes commited to Georgia. Dorezno Hudson commited to Virginia Tech. Jonathan Sloan commited to Texas St. Charlotte has offered Lamont Mack who has been listed but now moved to “Those still open (that we HAVE OFFERED)”. Added Ricky Garrett, Charles Robinson, Leon Spencer, Terence Watson, and Chawn Johnson to “Those still open (we have an interest in BUT NOT OFFERED)”
blh. On your potential roster you still have Harmon listed and no Phil Jones (soph.) or Eric Whitehurst, (Jr.).
I’ve now updated the 2007 list to include Jones and Whitehurst. I’ve also removed Harmon and moved Tracy Smith to those that have gone elsewhere.
Anything else I’m missing for 2007? I’ll start the 2008 page in the next week or so.
