Does anyone know anything about UNC-Tweetsie? They are 2-3 with wins over powerhouses Warren Wilson College and Hartford. They also played Davidson closer than we did.
I know when they played Davidson, Jack Gibbs was sitting out the game with an injury.
Hope we expanded Halton to fit in all those App fans.

Tickets may be hard to come by this game and/or standing room only…so here’s this:
Television: UNC Charlotte TV - The broadcasts can be seen on campus and in Mecklenburg, Union and Iredell counties through Time Warner Cable’s channel 22. Local AT&T U-Verse customers can watch the broadcast on channel 99, while on-campus viewing is on channel 49-1.
*I will be there however +2. Ready for my ticket upgrade after the national anthem to the lower bowl.

Why only those counties? Why no Cabarrus which is 5 miles down the road for school?

Hmm, not sure. But that info was from the AD website. That may be as far as that UNC Charlotte channel extends. If you have TWC and get channel 22, you should be good to go. But I’m sure not too many of the surrounding counties, even the close ones, get channel 22 unfortunately.
I watched them play Duke. They got run, but not as bad as I expected. This will be a tight one.
We have to force our tempo on them so we can score easy transition buckets. We can’t rely entirely on hot shooting. Our bigs need more minutes even if it is to hack them down low.
If we lose this game, niner basketball support could be in for steeper decline of who the f*** cares anymore mode. I’ll still be there… ill-advisedly.
Must win to try to stop the bleeding.
Fox is a McKillop disciple. I fully expect them to try doubling our ball screens up top until we show we can adjust to it and make them pay.
Yes, but the same was true last year and we beat them handily in Boone. In fact, that game seemed to be a trigger that got us going last year. I hope to see a repeat.

They always describe these broadcasts as including Union County. Only the extreme SW corner of Union County gets this channel. Not sure why, but 90% of Union’s TWC customer’s does NOT get it.
TICKETS GONE.
We have to win tonight. Loosing to APP is rock bottom and its going to be hard to convince people to come to the games for the rest of the year if we loose.
Losing to App is definitely rock bottom. Hopefully it takes their players about 40 minutes to get used to that little bit of extra gravitational pull.
We have lost to them before. Just saying.

Have we ever lost to the private school and App in back-to-back games?
If that isn’t rock bottom, I don’t know what is.
I realize we’ve lost to them before but loosing to Upstate, Davidson, and APP is not good. Its really bad actually.

HELL! Don’t forget what was REALLY a debacle: losing to upstate. UPSTATE!!! THAT game STILL pisses me off BIG time. Losing to d’son big was bad, but d’son is a good team. I think we win tonight, but if we don’t, I’m a die hard and will continue to show up and support my team.
