Like the UNCG one, not a lot of talk about the game vs Charlotte just yet. They seem to have a pretty active board, but the problem is no one supports or cares about their basketball team, which is pretty sad since they have a decent program.
I chimed in on the Charlotte thread. I would imagine the talk will pick up within the next few days.

I think that all in all the appy kids have been cool with the whole football thing. Basketball they can talk a little crap after that '02 win or whatever but we still got them all day in that category… all in all the app kids have been cool to me… I figure there are toolbags at every school, and apparently they all post on that one website that was posted earlier. no big thing.
As an FYI, Appcountry is not the fansite with the most traffic. The [URL=http://www.ninernation.net/forum/forums.delphiforums.com/appstate/messages]Mountaineer Message Board[/URL] is the site with the most fans. AppCountry is a great board, but mostly is frequented by students and younger alumni, the MMB has the older alumni. Not much basketball talk right now, as we are still smack dab in the middle of football season, but it should pick up as the game gets closer. Those two are the best for basketball, the others are smaller and mostly football oriented.
Also, as another tidbit, if you succeed with football, while you are FCS (I-AA) anygivensaturday.com and collegesportingnews.com are unbeatable sources of information. Anygivensaturday is a messageboard with fans from all over (mostly fans from the “major” fcs schools like Delaware, Montana, ASU, JMU ect. ect.) anyway, just wanted to let you know about the MMB, later.

That is the main complaint I hear about it. I actually like it, but I can see how someone who is used to this (Anygivensaturday uses the same program) could not like it, but once you figure it out its very convenient. A lot better than some of those rolling messageboards, those give me fits (like ECUs)
There was a lot of trash talking on the facebook event page for this game last year. Of course, after the game there wasn’t any App State students replying.
