I received a call from my buddy in grad school this morning and seems to think they are. He went at the same time as he did for the Depaul game and we are 3 sections over. For the Depaul game we were front row 203, now we are about 5th row 206. That was about 10:30 or so. That must mean something.
Time to stop handing out tickets for free at the Belk tower. Lets leave them at the ticket office and make sure they get used. We probably had 500 tickets get taken and not used for Depaul.

I was in line from 7:30 till 10:00 this morning, that line was ridiculous.
rediculous lines are a great thing. :)
Just checked the online tickets portal (TicketReturn), as of 3pm Monday:
best available Priority1 are 223 Row S (isn’t that the very top row?)
best available Priority2 are 217 Row O
I would say they are going better. I camped out for this game and I got wourse seats then I did for the Depaul game when I didn’t camp. I am still in 104 just on row j seat 16.
The ticket office was slow again this morning. It looked like they had people on the wrong spot on the list.
Sitting in the upper rows of the end zone gives you a completely different perspective of the game and watching plays develop. It’s something I usually do once or twice a season.

Kind of a double edge sword. Some say to take the tickets to the students and then they take them but aren't used. On the flip side, if we don't take them then the school is accused of not putting fourth the effort.
If they don’t know there’s a game this Wednesday, they’re not going to come. After the effort last week and announcements for the Memphis Tiger Cubs game, the ones that are interested will come.
Unfortunately, the season is almost over. What the student section could’ve/should’ve been this season. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
clt agrees that the tickets should be given out at the tix office. it is simple, use the flyers, word of mouth, green phalus, etc. to create hype. then distribute the tickets thru the tix office.

I was picking up some dinner at Wendy's before that game. As I was waiting for my food, I saw someone use a DePaul ticket for the buy two value menu items, get one free for the coupon on the back. Ludicrous. If someone made this punk go down and pick his ticket up at the ticket office, this type of waste wouldn't occur.
Those repsonsible for hyping up the niner games are average at best. When will we ever get rid of those tiny “basketball game today” signs. Honestly, they can’t come up with anything better than that?

Youre positive it was for the DePaul game? That is messed up.
Yup, saw it with my own eyes. It paticularly irked me since I had checked my wallet like 5 different times that day to make sure I had my tix in there for that night...and here this peckerhead was wasting his at Wendy's.
how do you know he didn't go to the game? they just scan the tickets when you go in and give them back to you.
That’s what I was thinking. I’ve taken my used tickets at Wendy’s before and redeeme the coupon. It wouldn’t make sense for them to put a coupon on the back of a ticket if the ticket wasn’t going to remain with teh holder after the game.
