They have 14k undergrads at the main campus, in NE arkansas.
I think their attendance is pretty solid for a Sun Belt school but at the same time they are going through one of the best times in their program’s history.
I commend them for being creative with their ticket sales. We should try something similar.
In places like Jonesboro, AR, Huntington, WV, and Greenville, NC local college football is the biggest sporting event in the area every year. So while the population is lower in these places it is the only thing to do. If you are a business owner in Charlotte with no connection to the school you are probably spending your sports dollar on the Panthers, Hornets, or NASCAR. We should work harder marketing to the greater Charlotte metro but we do have more sports competition.
