The Wake board seemed to think we were pretty loud. Of course, some complained about us all moving to that one section, but anyway…
Those that watched on TV, were we as loud as they made us out to be? Could you hear Niner Nation at all on TV?
Yes. VERY loud…VERY impressive. Sad to say that our fan turnout/enthusiasm was the most impressive part of the game…but it was.
Two whole pages with seatings and noises from Wake fans… moan and groan over how Niner Nation was louder than they were. What a bunch of maroons !
I could hear the niner faithful chanting many times during the game. Great job to the fans that made the trip.

Great time in Winston today…we completely dominated their bar, Cobalt, before and after the game too.

I had a great time at the game even though i’m sad we lost. I would love to see us play more teams within driving distance.

The game was fun, we crushed their student section into embarassment.
I made a sign that said “Skip for Cinci Before it’s too late” and security ran up and stole it after I had set it down.
I told the guy “You can’t take my sign” and he said “I just did”
The funniest part about the ordeal was that I had just held it up and Prosser looked RIGHT at it. 2 mins later, the guy runs up there.

And since we had someone in their section, we should have done the Harvard/Yale prank where you passed out the cards to make one big image, telling them it was "Go Wake" or something when it was really "Go Niners".
The “Niner” section sitting in the 2nd level was absolutely great. We were sitting downstairs and we could hear the chants the entire game, and they were very loud. I kept noticing the Wake students turning around and looking upstairs like “What’s going on”.
I was impressed with the number of Niner fans that showed up today. I think we definitely made a statement about our fan support. Some of the Wake fans were a little shell shocked.

I was amazed at how Green Shirts from all over the coliseum quickly flocked together into one section…
I swear it was the coolest thing EVER!
