You know what really gets me boiling??? Iāve tried to speak your level and all I get is abused for being this/that. Why arenāt we pointing fingers at the President (Duboise???)?? Have any of you thought about how egotistical this guy has been since coming to Charlotte? We are currently in the biggest recession in 100years. Companyās are downsizing, people are losing their jobs, and basically everyone is cutting back to save. And here this egomaniac comes in and DEMANDS a football team (which requires a lot of $$$$ from people that donāt have it), fires a very loyal coach that is the all time winning coach (which will cost the university a lot of $$$$) , and now has to pay him and another coaches salary (which will cost a lot of $$$$)ā¦Do these action not bother anyone??? Well, it bothers me. You donāt bullhorn your reaction to everyone that you are firing your coach on Monday like heās been a thorn in the side of the university. A coach, whether time to leave or not, that has been a 15 year loyal employee, committed to the service at hand, and basically the face of Charlotte basketball. A coach who doesnāt cheat, steal, lie, blackeye the university in any way whatsoever. There are ways to handle things and this dipsh*t did not handle anything with care. Seems they didnāt really thinkā¦they just reacted. Why not ask Bobby to resign? Why not give him the option to find somewhere else or even retire on his own terms? This guy is an egomaniacā¦take a look at his resume. All Iām saying is yes, Im a Bobby supporter (not his wife, dad, cousin, uncle, or anything just a supporter) and Iām very angry for the way MY/OUR university handled the entire process. I promise you that outside of Duboiso/Judy/some studentsā¦the professors, employees, and other personel at the university is not happy with the process either. I know Iāve been loud these past couple of days but I have supported this program for years and supported Bobby and Im not glad to see CHANGE. Whatās wrong with having a coach that doesnāt drink, smoke, cheat, lie, steal, etc.??? Whatās wrong with winning 19/20 games a year? Whatās wrong with being a good person? Im sure Bobbys already a peace with the decison and moving on to bigger and better things but we as a society need to evaluate how we treat others and always think things should be bigger and better. The university may move forward but has taken a step backwards in morals/ethics/and just plain bad treatment of good peopleā¦

first off, you get on here and talk about how bad our league sucks and how nobody wants to coach us and then you get upset when people get angry at you. youre right, there is nothing wrong with a coach that doesnt smoke, drink, cheat, lie or steal. thats all great. bobby is a great guy. no one is arguing about that but the bottom line is this is a business and he wasent getting the job done. whats wrong with 19/20 wins a year? ill tell you. it doesnt get us in the tournament, which means we dont get any tournament money, which hurts the school in a tough economy. would you keep a crappy employee simply because he was a nice guy? i dont think so. you say that the administration should have asked him to resign. what do you think he would have said? as far as football goes, football is the key for this university to take the next step forward. we cant compete without it and having it may help us get out of the ācrappyā a10 as you call it. you say you didnt like how this was handled, how would you have handled it? just let bobby coach us to more years of mediorcrity? judy and phil did what they had to do. as far as paying him, if he gets another job then we dont have to pay the buyout. college athletics is a business and this was business move. we couldnt just stand by and watch our program sink into mediocrity, we had to do something.
