do you think wins against wins against furman, wake, and 2 over stony brook would be enough? that would make us 14-1 with wins over USC and Wake. Carolina is still a month away.
We better win four against Stony Brook. We play them in DHās on consecutive days this weekend. But hey letās not go counting our chickens before they are hatched.
a few things that happen EVERY YEAR:
Collegiate Baseball Magazine will give us love first.
Baseball America is located in Raliegh and are bigger ACC jocksniffers that Spangfi and a WFNZ caller, we will be in the top 10 of the other polls before we crack their top 25.
Ask any SID the past 2 decades.
Yeah, they have 10-2 UNC-CH at #3 this week after their 3-0 sweep of Duquesne. Up next, Univ. Myrtle Beach, VCU, and Va Tech.
I still think weāve been screwedā¦ Yes, one win and one loss doesnāt count for much at all in baseball, when you play 56 times a year and so much of the game relies on the pitcherā¦
ā¦but still, destroying a top 5 (in most polls) team on the road, and outscoring opponents 87-30 on the year?
The only thing I can say is that one of the poles (baseballamerica maybe?) didnt tell who else got votes - so we dont know that we arent getting votes in that poleā¦ the other one i saw did give us votes at least.
If we sweep this week - maybe weāll pop in there. I am suprised however that USC is still as far up as they are - maybe Iām just used to basketball where when you get slammed by a team (even more so an unranked team) you drop out of the top 10 at leastā¦

BBA has never showed recieving votesā¦ever
I am telling you, they hate Charlotte.
And USC swept Clemsonā¦they have a couple likely first roundersā¦thats why they are ranked high.
I talked to two players tonight and they were a little disappointed they werent ranked but its motivation they saidā¦stupid presby lose is holding them back they think

Unfortunately though, our RPI is going to plummet in conference play. We may crack the top 25, but it is unlikely they we will get any respect for beating up on the A10. We have an excellent team, but if we arenāt getting respect after spanking USC, then we arenāt going to get as high as we will deserve. Guess we will have to show our medal when tourney time roles around.

What kind of medal do we have? Silver, gold, bronzeā¦or do you mean mettle?
Charlotte sounds like they are doing pretty good for baseball. Maybe yāall can come up to Lincoln for a regional against us ;)
As long as you have no more Jobaās on the roster.
Unfortunately, I can no longer speak Jobaās name as he is wearing the uniform of the devil currently.
We do however have Johnny Dorn. 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA so far, and looking very strong.
