we played them when I was in school prior to CUSA

maybe its my fault, Hibbs first season I was put into a game as a reliever late in the game for the sole purpose of drilling their 2nd baseman who bunted when they were up 12-1. And drill him I did. :-* LiL bastard.

In all seriousness, not sure why we don’t but I will ask. I know their former coach Keith LeClaire was a great guy who recruited me to WCU with Jack Leggit (now at Clemson). Keith is now passed away from Lou Gehrig Disease, and Hibbs was cool with him.

If I had to guess, both us and them are stubborn about where the game(s) and when the games would be played.

Metro, what if that one ball you threw had an effect on that lil 2nd baseman for his remaining life? Makes you think huh. Just a ball. A ball that can change lives.

Better hope he’s not some where in a dark room with black lights writing a list of names on a piece of paper in which you are at the top.

You know if you were in AA… you may have to apologize to him before you can make the next step.

Dayton, who was picked to win the conference this year, got swept by LaSalle this past weekend.

Also, Xavier, who is 4-18 on the year, beat 5th ranked Georgia Tech earlier this week. Just proves that anybody can beat anyone in baseball on any given day.

Over the whole season though, no one in the A-10 should touch us in baseball with our talent. Just hope our pitching can get better as the season progresses.
