Now that we are in a baseball-serious conference, I’d love to see support to the point that the Hayes could be expanded and I’d like our team to make some major noise in the NCAA.
It would be good if those things could happen before Hibbs retires. He deserves that.
Here’s the thing: some of us support both the basketball and baseball programs. There’s little baseball talk here as it is. I hate to see a legitimate thread concerning the program killed by trolling one person who doesn’t represent the whole program. If his presence here is so agitating, then ban him (again), you’re a moderator.
The conversation about Charlotte basketball has got to move past Bobby and the conversation about Charlotte baseball has got to move past Tim. My two cents.
According to Perfect Game, Trevor Gay is the 47th best player in this class from NC. Ranked 20th best RHP in the state.
Jacob Craver is ranked the 55th best player in this class from NC, 2nd best LHP in the state.

My first post in the thread was legitimate about players needing to develop their arm strength. That’s a players strength that can be easily assessed, unlike other sports where there are many more variables at play.
I hope the program improves and succeeds this time around in CUSA, I played the sport going into college and regretfully gave it up. It’s my favorite sport and would love to see the Niners be perennial contenders in a strong league like CUSA.
As far as banning someone, I’m not going to ban someone for trolling or being a nuisance.

YOU were the troll here[/quote]I didn’t say your reply in this instance was. I was merely replying to another posters post towards me, not a specifc post by you.
I really hope we can just get along and support the program. I am a close friend of the parents of one of the signed players and I can tell you for a fact that these players and parents are VERY aware of this message board and read it often. We were very fortunate to sign this player. Let’s support our baseball program. It is run by a quality coach and has a ton of potential. I can also verify that those numbers are not accurate any longer on a couple of those pitchers. They are old numbers. The velocity should increase on most all of these guys as they start a real strength and conditioning program. Go Niners! Looking forward to baseball.

I know everyone doesn’t our performance, but I really like Hibbs. I’ve chatted with him a couple times at other Niner sporting events. He’s a great dude and I love that he and the baseball team get out and support the other programs as well as they do.
Wsu is bcs $
He accepts half rate to be near kids
Wichita State pays $300,000/ year plus bonuses.

Not sure where to post this, but here’s a blurb from today’s Gaston Gazette:
Huss QB’s injury not serious
Hunter Huss quarterback Andrew Jordan’s injury in Friday’s game against Parkwood wasn’t as serious as some might have suspected.
Jordan suffered a Grade 1 AC joint sprain, his uncle Stephen Hoell said Saturday. The AC joint is located at the top of the shoulder. The injury occurred to Jordan’s right (throwing) side.
Hoell said Jordan will be sore for a few weeks but expects to make a complete recovery. Jordan this past week signed with UNC Charlotte as a baseball pitcher.
