I’m ready to see what we can do now that we’re in a league that cares about baseball. You’re already seeing an uptick in recruiting. Six more weeks and we’ll be back at The Hayes!

I can’t wait. Gooooooal Niners! ;D

I’m ready for some 49er baseball and can’t wait to start play in a “Baseball Power Conference”.

Sounds like a great class.

The A10 vs this CUSA is like jumping from hs. It’s back to reality like sunbelt, metro, cusa of old. Everyone will have 1-2 guys 90mph, speed in middle inf. Only this time we have facility on par. Anything over .500 will be huge.

Hunter Jones----yet another Piedmont Panther turned Charlotte 49er!!! ;D BY all accounts, he is a GREAT kid from a GREAT family and he grew up as a big 49er fan, going to our basketball games. He joins a long list of Piedmont guys for us, including Brad Elwood, Patric King, Rob and Jim Lyerly, Matt Foard and several others.

You walk around all the neighborhoods handing out Pro-Niner paraphernalia don’t you?

Of course, me and Coach Hibbs-----since he is virtually my neighbor.

Haha, whatever works.

I went through some of the basic scouting reports on our '15 commits. With a lot of the information under lock and key to premium subscribers, it is sometimes hard to find to find much to really get excited about.

Enter: Matt Horkey ( @horkley27 )

I feel like this is a guy we can really get excited about. Horkey is one of four left-handers in the class, but it looks like he has some electric stuff. Throwing 87 MPH from the left side of the mound is hard not to get excited about!

I’m going to try to outline the remaining commits over the course of the week.

Is it baseball season yet?

Another bit of trivia concerning the future Niners / Panther alumni, Brad Elwood, Patrick King, and Hunter Jones all live in the same neighborhood.
Nice! and Welcome to the board. We could use more baseball fans over here.

Excited to see our recruiting pick up. Always good to grab a kid from the Dirtbag program.

I wanted to take the time to go through the rest of the new class and give some basic info on each guy.

Unfortunately these are only brief looks into our '15 Charlotte 49ers Baseball class, but it gives us a little bit more of an idea about the upcoming class. I cannot wait to see these guys on the field!

Thanks for the info, AK.

Hope those pitchers can either pick up some velocity or have solid movement on their pitches.

LOL

Gun times from jr hs year and last summer don’t reflect where guys project in 2015 spring

LOL

Gun times from jr hs year and last summer don’t reflect where guys project in 2015 spring
Really, what a shock. Guess that’s why I said hope they can either pick up velocity (which means develop) or have solid movement on their pitches. Hopefully both happen.

Maybe they’ll get coached up a little more before they arrive here.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
The “maybe they will get coached up before they get here” was a joke by me. Don’t think that’s something anyone would ever say to a recruit.
