Knew we wouldn’t do well after being named one of the hottest teams in the country.

4 wins this week.

Exactly how I felt going into the RI series.

We need a big crowd to show up for our games this weekend. Fireworks after Friday night’s game I think. Saturday is the NNN tailgating. The concession stand has hot dogs for one dollar on Saturday too (I think hot dogs are still a buck on Saturday, even though they cancelled the scheduled “bring your dog” day).

Over, they found out I was planning on bringing Little Dog to the game.

We need to win this Dayton series this weekend.

I plan on going both Friday and Saturday. I can’t wait for the tailgate on Saturday!!!

This may have already been discussed by the school newspaper reads, “Charlotte 49ers defeat USC Uptown” rofl

I plan on being there Friday and Saturday, but I’ll have to miss most of the Saturday’s tailgating.

We need to sweep Dayton.

I will be there Friday with a bunch of kids from our Huntersville 11 year old baseball team.
Should be a fun night with the fireworks and hopefully a W.

We beat the mess out of Winthrop last night, 16-5. Homers for Rio (9th of the year) and Justin Wilson (1st). Freshman LHP John Hamilton got the win in his first-ever start.

Corey Roberts (freshman) gets the ball on Friday night against Dayton.

Slideshow from the game last night.

NOTE: Charlotte junior pitcher Joe Yermal (2-0), Game 1 starter in conference series the past two seasons, is out for the rest of the season for an undisclosed reason.
Not good.

I’ll be there Friday, Sat, and most likely Sunday.

Plan on getting out to the tailgate by at least 9:30. I will be feeling very good by game time.

Yermal is out for the season!? Great… :frowning:

Not good.[/quote]He's my neighbor. Him and Rivers. I wouldn't say anything if I knew it though.

That sucks.

What happened to him? I haven’t followed the baseball team as much as I would like to and am completely out of the loop.

Undisclosed injury.

GREEN OUT TONIGHT VS DAYTON!! ALL STUDENTS WEAR GREEN!!
