According to the National Center for Catastrophic Sports Injury Research at the University of North Carolina, 20 to 25 high school and college athletes in the United States die each year from sudden cardiac death.
That was unexpected. You just think if your kid is a star athlete that cardiac arrest just wouldn’t be on the ‘stuff I should worry about’.
