I voted for DA, but Plav certainly helped alot. What he lacked on D, he made up for by drawing defenders out 35 feet from the whole. His game at Syracuse was the stuff of legend.
I can’t believe how civil everyone is being given past Plavich debates.
Personally, I was a huge Plav fan, but DA is easily the more complete player. Plav was more of a one-trick pony, but man-oh-man what a trick. I don’t think we have ever had or will ever again have a player with that kind of shooting ability. special.
If you want to compare then it should be by postion.
PG Colson or Demon or Baldwin
SG Jobey or Plav or Leemire
SF Galen or Eddie or DA
PF D. Johnson or White or Withers
I’d say PG, definately colson, most complete, SG has to be jobey, more mobile than plavich less erratic than goldwire, deadeye shooter. SF would go to eddie so far, he did everything well and a lot of little things too. PF, has to be curtis, DeMarco was a little steadier but curt can dominate when he’s on, white was good but not enough exposure.
