I’m curious, what contempt did Biff show toward the university, the administration and the fans? I must have missed it. The only comment that I recall about the fans is he said in a press conf “i wish others would have stuck around to see the ending”. A lot lighter than other coaches that have called out fan bases for leaving early to games or not showing up, Mack Brown, Dabo, Kiffin, Smart, Saban and Cignetti this year when they were undefeated.

As I recall, Tom Herman was on the short list of many people here including myself and he could not get it done. He also just got fired at FAU. So, we do need to recognize that it is not as simple as just hiring a previous head coach with a winning record, but that is where the selection process has to begin. But if it was this easy then there would be no teams with losing records. And if any of you have interviewed and hired employees, you know that in spite of a thorough interviewing process a bad hire can still occur. But in Hill’s case, this is his 3rd attempt at a head football
Coach so I am sure he knows that this hire must work out. And if his boss is what everyone believes she is, then she is holding him accountable for this next hire.
Where did Poggi park on campus today? Guest pay deck?

Yup count me among those that thought Herman was a home run hire. I thought FAU had got another Kiffin. I was just a little off on that one haha.

If we do this and yall still don’t believe me that Mike Hill is out to get us and intentionally sabatozing the department I will never post here ever again. That would be a disaster.
He went 15-30 as a head coach and is in his mid 60s.

Hire Kerwin Bell, bring in his son as OC (currently at Pitt)…could be future HC depending on their performance here.
I hope we can get a current fbs coach under the age of 50 that has a winning record AND where the resume looks like upward trajectory

I either want a TOP FCS HC or someone who was .500 and above as an FBS HC.
We’ve done:
FBS Coordinator
FCS < .500 HC
HS Coach with P5 sideline experience
Let’s skip these types on this hire.

Does anyone have a handle on how big our entire staff got under Poggi? Both in # of coaches and combined salaries?
We dramatically increased the size and investment in our football coaching staff under Poggi, and the default is that we are going to need to replace a bunch of them.
Question is, if we have to ante up to hire a proven HC, will we still have the budget to retain such a large staff?
