Phill Wait (spelled with 2 Ls) seems to have fallen off the radar. He was all set to play center at Davidson College but “Wait said that while Davidson helped him get to the United States, Bob McKillop’s program hasn’t been in touch since he arrived at Proctor.” Some scouting reports call him the best kept secret on the East Coast - he’s an athletic English soccer player that also plays basketball.

According to rivals, he’s averaging 12 ppg, 10 rpg and 6 blocked shots per game. Did I mention he’s 7’1" and 250 lbs?

So what happened to him? I thought next year’s Davidson game would have Charlotte’s Big Phil squaring off against Davidson’s Big Phill.

maybe any other location in the country. but not in charlotte. not unless one of the towers played for the tarholes. you should know better.
