PG Bishop Daniels, Word of God Academy (NC) - One of the most athletic players in his class, Daniels (6-2) likes Miami, but the Canes have stiff competition from many other
schools. A combo guard ranked 83rd in the ESPNU 100, Daniels is high on South Carolina, Georgetown, Wake Forest, and Charlotte as well.

and Charlotte? oh noes!

we need a leaper like this in our backcourt.

With his improved game has come an improved recruitment. He currently holds offers from Charlotte and DePaul and has a host of other schools recruiting him. “It’s getting a whole lot better than what it was,” he said of the recruiting process. “Right now it’s between Clemson, Miami, DePaul, Purdue, Charlotte and South Carolina.”

“Right now it’s Miami, Purdue, and DePaul,” Daniels said of the contenders, all of whom have offered. “The decision will be made in the next couple days,” said Daniels. “It’ll be before Friday or Saturday.”

Going to Miami.

Well they certainly got a high-flyer. Should be on SportsCenter Top 10 multiple times in his career with some posterizing dunks!

getting his release from Miami. We are not in the picture.

ended up staying at the U, now leaving the program according to some posts on their Scout.com board.

Announcers at tonights game discussed it briefly. It’s official.

I came across this story thought it was kinda interesting. He redshirted last year, and left the team after the first semester this year. He was a big time target for us a few years back, wonder if he is still academically elgible. He’s leaving Miami or at least quitting the team. Should we go after this kid? He’s from Raleigh and was on the Wolf Pack’s radar as well. They seem to be pretty set at the two guard for the next few years, so maybe getting close to home but not too close would be a good move. Anyone know anything else about him?

oops sorry for the redundency, mod can delete my post if you want

i saw the kid play in high school. very good ball handler and athlete but i did not like him. too flashy and a really low iq basketball player. tries to make incredibly fancy passes to show off and it usually ends badly. not a very good shooter so he does not solve that problem. lets pass on him.

I dont really keep up with recruiting like I use to so other than what ive seen in a 3 min. highlight reel dont know what his strengths and weaknesses are but I agree if he’s not a shooter we dont really need him. He is a high major athlete though without a doubt!

RT @JucoRecruiting: Miami (FL) transfer Bishop Daniels will play next season at ASA College, a JUCO in NYC.

I see ASA advertisements all over the subway. I never figured it to be a JUCO and have a basketball team.

Headed to Rutgers from JUCO.
