Blackout

Not at all. Remember the game at TWC a few years ago? I think it was against Maryland or something. The alcohol just served as a way for sororities to make it into a social event where they all showed up talked to each other the whole time. They never even stood up.
Yep, got stuck in their section. Didn’t care about the game/team as usual.

I thought this thread was about Four Lokos

Well I’ll be there…drunk, rowdy, and obnoxious! Ready to bleed green!

As for the beer… I thought no beer is allowed at NCAA games… no matter the venue…

I believe the law in NC is that alchohol cannot be served at on-campus venues. They definitely served beer at both of our games at TWC Arena a few years back. They also serve plenty of beer for the bowl games at BofA.

Sweet! that means free beer then!!!

Dude this is America, you can borderline get drunk anywhere.

Communal wine!

Besides inside TWC Arena, has anyone ever had problems tailgaiting on campus? I know its not a common site, but especially when baseball comes around me and some friends plan to tailgate and bring some spirit around, the legal age is not a problem, but I am aware we will probably be some of few who tailgate and I dont want to bring trouble.

I know a little off topic but I have looked through campus policies and cant get a definite answer.

We tailgated for several baseball games last year and surprisingly never had any problems from the campus police. I think if you are of legal drinking age and you have your drink in a cup, everything is good.

I figured that was the genral rule, just put em in Dixie’s! Appreciate the experienced info! CANT WAIT TILL THE BOYS GET BACK ON THE DIAMOND!

I’m pretty sure its just a UNC System rule and not a state law. Non-UNC System NC schools can sell alcohol though most don’t because the NCAA ā€œstrongly discouragesā€ it at their games.
