A couple weeks ago I sent an email to the bookstore asking why they have to get “UNC Charlotte” on all of our merchandise, when the majority of us wish to have just “Charlotte” on our athletic gear.
Here is the BS response I got from them -

We have a Nike shirt available in both gray and white, we also have under armour merchandise for both men and women with Charlotte Forty-Niners, and a great assortment of other items with Charlotte Forty-Niners as well as the C-pick, and the 49ers pick logos.
We like to offer a variety of merchandise to our customers. The UNC Charlotte merchandise has been requested and is a big seller. Although, I can understand that you are a fan, please keep in mind that many Niners fans are also UNC Charlotte Alumni. Having merchandise with both UNC Charlotte and Charlotte Forty-Niners on it, allows individuals with an acadmic background at UNC Charlotte to choose which graphic they prefer. Having all Charlotte Forty-Niners merchandise on the site would be unfair to those who like the UNC Charlotte merchandise. We do our best to keep a healthy balance of the two. As far as the Nike merchandise goes, we do have a Charlotte Forty-Niners sweatshirt coming in, and I will be sure to let you know as soon as it arrives. If you have any questions, please let me know.

The bookstore sent out a brochure with the season tickets for merchandise.
A Nike polo, an Under Armour polo, an Under Armour tee, a Champion Niner Nation tee in gray ($17.98 ), 2 Nike tees, 4 caps, 2 women’s tees and 4 hoodies (2 Jansport, Nike and Under Armour).
The problem I saw was this:

That’s good business, but when I purchased my Under Armour tees at the bookstore several weeks ago, they already were out of at least one size in one color.
Also, I know we’re talking different styles (and I don’t really care for the one in the photo below) but the bookstore wants $54.98 for a Nike polo, at the [URL=http://highpoint.spiralathletic.com/][B]High Point University[/B][/URL] site, I can get a Nike polo for $34.95.
Someone needs to contact Nike and place an order. I don’t care if it’s the bookstore, the 49er Club, Dick’s orany other business. The products will be sold if we know it’s available!

Evidently, this is an email they have received multiple times. They even have an autoresponse to it.
