I like Brice’s chances. Afterall, when a then 19 year old TJ McConnell dropped 14 on the Niners in Halton back in 2012, how many would have predicted correctly where he’d be today.

IMHO, He will get a shot as a UFA, just not with hornets unfortunately with all the shooters they drafted. He will be in Vegas in summer league with someone. What I am also interested in is if Igor will be there or if he just says I am going back the EU. Going to be a lot of vets casted away from Hornets, say goodbye to Seth Curry?

Brice a DNP in today’s Summer League game vs the Knicks.
Brice had 10 pts, 2 reb, and 2 asts in 14 minutes off the bench for the Pistons in his NBA debut.

One made 3FG in 11 minutes of action.
Brice not among the 11 who saw action in today’s win by the Pistons.
Really questioning the Pistons rotation. Ater having a decent boxscore about a week ago, the Pistons opted to not give him any minutes the following game. They seem to be relying on a heavy rotation of the same 5 guys. Which includes ~25 mpg to 2nd round pick Chaz Lanier, whom Brice is competing directly against for the SG spot. They seem locked in on Lanier. Brice doesn’t stand a chance.

Actually gave Brice 11 minutes off the bench in that following game vs the T-Wolves. Shot 1-4 FG (1-2 3PT) for 3 pts. No rebounds or assists.
It’s not looking good but don’t give up hope.
You never know how they need to fill out their roster.
They may have a two way contract available.
Or he may be able to land on a g league team.
I don’t think his NBA story is written just yet.
I think Brice is the type of player who excels in a system.
Give him an opportunity and I can see him succeeding.
Bottom line he is gonna have a pro career. The question is where.

Pistons vs Spurs at 8PM. Hopefully Brice gets some PT.
Long-term, would assume he will get an opportunity to land on a G League roster.
Brice finished with 8 pts (2-9 FG / 1-3 3PT / 3-4 FT) and 4 rebs in 15 minutes off the bench.
