I think he picked (or lucked into) a great transfer destination.
The goal is to get PT. He got that and took advantage of his opportunity.

We played a shit offense. He was lost in it his first two years. When he came back off the redshirt, it felt like he started going against the system. It worked for him but is also probably why he didn’t start after back to back 30 pt games. I truly hated Ron as our coach more so than any other during my time as a fan.
He needed to start in an offense that would let him play and not worry about whether he shot the ball too early and was going to get subbed out.

Sanchez just doesn’t understand offense imho. When you have a talent like a Williams sometimes you gotta just get the ball in his hands and get the hell out of his way. Offense is not an equal opportunity employer. They who can score get the ball.

Think Sanchez viewed offense as part of his defense, i.e. limit opportunities for opposing team and avoid risks. Meant we lost a lot of close games. Williams was a really good scorer, but think he sometimes had less effort on D while at Charlotte (seemed better at Nebraska). No excuse for Sanchez not utilizing him enough while here. Will be interesting to see if Williams can stick in the NBA.
Williams carried responsibility as well. I saw many times where he disappeared. Passed open shots and deferred to others. Some may have been because of Sanchez but I think it had more to do with his personality at the time.
I think he now gets he has to be an Alpha on the court. I think he was learning that at Charlotte.

There were times Brice disappeared with the Huskers too, as well as during the Combine.
Anyway, if he buys into stepping up on defense, should get a chance to make it in the NBA.

Yep, Brice isn’t showing up on every two round mock. But the NBA front offices know him so he’s going to get a shot no matter what happens on Thursday. BTW, saw one mock in which he’s selected by Houston.
Brice needs the right situation hopefully some scout does his job and a team brings him in. D league could be the best start too. Like to see the Hornets bring him n as a FA. Knew his dad and played a lot of pickup with Henry in the Mineshaft or the outdoor courts. I’m rooting for u Brice
