Bryan Bynes - 6'3 SG (2009)

He is a 6’3, 185 lb. SG from Lauderdale Lakes (FL) Boyd Anderson. He is a HS senior this year.

Apparently we have offered him. He is not ranked but has offers from UAB, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, George Mason, and Louisiana-Monroe.

I could care less about the damn rankings. Give me someone who can play, and I don’t care what the hell these analyst say about them.

We’ve done pretty damn well lately with players from Florida (Leemire, CC3). Especially at the sg position…

SIGN HIM UP!

I love Dijuans game, pretty sure he wasn’t ranked.

We’ve done pretty well with recruits from Upper Marlboro, MD as well.

i like him because we need a pg.

sign me up, i’m on his bandwagon

According to a poster on the “paid” message board on NR, we are still actively recruiting Bynes.
He sounds like a really good player, but we need a true pg to fill out our last spot. SG will be full with Bowden, Andersen and Coleman.

6-3 Wing Guard Boyd Anderson (FL) Lauderale ′09

BIO: Aggressive lock down defender with good offensive skills and solid in transition.

From behind the arc Bynes can knock down the open three when he has his feet set but is still considered streaky.

he sounds like someone we have on our team right now…i still say we need him though. we need shooters in lutz system, but we still really need a PG.

If he is unranked, he probably CAN’T play. Dude. this stuff is not rocket science.

But, if he can’t play, he would be a good fit for the niner squad.

Yea that’s why Mike Davis and Jim Larranaga are tossing offers at this kid. We all know those guys don’t bring in good players .

BTW, there’s a certain thing called late bloomers, and as far as rankings go, he scored an 86 on ESPN’s rankings. and that would put him tied for 12th in the A10.

Ranking are ok for the “Can’t miss” guys like Beasley and the sort. After you get by the top 20 or so guys, maybe a few more, it gets really political.

AAU coaches with contacts, AAU coaches that turned out guys in the past, etc. It comes to down as a fan of this stuff to trusting your staff to evaluate guys.

If a kid plays for a small HS or doesn’t play AAU it could severely hamper his rankings.

Like Von Wafer. Still in the NBA I believe.

Look who also is recruiting him, Dalonte Hill. Good thing he isn’t like a number one recruit or anything or Huggins might steal Hill’s services for a position that will never happen on his bench!
