Bulls (officially) sign Eddie Basden

They have the official release on Bulls.com, and as of right now he’s on their roster as #13.

NOTES: The Bulls have signed rookie Eddie Basden to a contract that includes guaranteed money if the 6-5 swingman makes the regular-season roster.

‘‘I fully expect Eddie Basden to be on our roster opening day,’’ operations chief John Paxson said. ‘‘He can play for our team.’’

There’s some irony in the fact that the Bulls first game on November 2nd is against the Bobcats. After four years of playing to help Charlotte win, Basden is going to play his first official NBA game trying to make sure that the Charlotte team loses! Hmmm…
